For the moon festival, the school has introduced a taiko session for 3 times a week. This CAS activity will be involving three learning outcomes, which are collaborative skills, challenge & skills, and commitment & perseverance.
Collaborative skills: In order to success a performance on taiko, there needs to have a strong relationship with the other players. Therefore, we all started with acknowledging and respecting each others skill on taiko. Challenge & Skills: Although, I am Japanese taiko is a whole new experience for me so I need to make an effort to catch up with other taiko players. I will make an effort to be successful on the performance on moon festival. Commitment & Perseverance: Taiko is one of the music and needs a lot of effort to be able to play. Therefore, I need to show up every lesson to be able to play. The lesson might be not fun at first because I have to learn the basic, however I will always show my greatest attitude toward playing taiko. |
